Based on member and athlete feedback regarding U19 last season, and with guidance from the Ringette NS High Performance Committee, Ringette NS has decided to eliminate the requirement that NS 19AA athletes also play for an Association U19 team. Rather, athletes selected for the NS 19AA team in 2024-25 will have the option to play with an Association team - and are encouraged to do so - but they will not be required to do so. NS 19AA athletes who opt to play Association U19 will have to prioritize NS 19AA over Association U19 in the event of conflict between the two programs.

 

This change only applies to the NS 19AA program.
