The Graduate Awards Program is an annual Ringette Nova Scotia sponsored program through which ringette players, coaches and officials who have demonstrated passion, commitment and leadership in the sport of ringette, and who are graduating from Grade 12 can apply for one of four (4) annual $250.00 scholarships.
Annual Scholarships Descriptions
Gary Field Memorial Scholarship - In 2008, one of the four scholarships was named the Gary Field Memorial Scholarship in honour of the late Gary Field, a dedicated volunteer whose mentorship and dedication to the officiating program has been deeply missed. Officials who apply to the Graduate Awards Program and who have displayed outstanding leadership and commitment in their role as an official with Ringette Nova Scotia will be automatically considered for this prestigious scholarship.
Herman Wills Leadership Scholarship - This award was created in 2018 to honour Herm Wills’ significant leadership in Ringette. He introduced Ringette in Nova Scotia in 1973 and founded and became President of Ringette Nova Scotia in 1974. Herm and his wife Rosalie reside in the HRM and continue to share their passion of the sport at local Ringette Events. This award shall be awarded to any registered player, coach or official who demonstrates innovative, initiative-leadership impacting their academic, sport, or community environments.
Graduate Scholarship - The Graduate Scholarship is a Ringette Nova Scotia sponsored program through which ringette players, coaches and officials who have demonstrated passion, commitment and leadership in the sport of ringette, and who are graduating from Grade 12 can apply.
Eligibility - Any registered player, coach or official may apply, who is in their final year of high school that is or will be enrolled as a full-time student in a recognized post-secondary education institution for the coming academic year. Applicants must be a member of Ringette Nova Scotia and must have been involved in the sport for at least 3 consecutive years.

You will find the application option under participant banner on your registration dashboard.
Then choose the U19 division, and you will see the option to apply for the RNS Graduate Awards Program.
When applying, you must attach a copy of your proof of enrolment in a post secondary institution. On the application, you will also be asked to respond to the following questions:
