Coaching Course Information

For Directions on how to register for clinics, please follow the steps below.

Community Sport Initiation (CSI) Clinic

To complete the CSI coaching program, please follow the steps below:

Go to Ringette Canada’s Coaching website at coachingringette.ca
Scroll down and click the SIGN UP button
Create a coaching profile with Ringette Canada.
Once the Profile is created go to your “Status” and register for Coach Initiation in Sport (CIS).
Once CIS is complete scroll to Community Sport Initiation Clinic and choose register. This will bring up a separate screen showing the clinic options in NS. Select the one you want to take. Registration and payment is processed through the Ringette Canada website.
Attend the CSI clinic.
The office will give you credit for the course, which will then pass into the Coaches Association of Canada (CAC) database, The Locker.

After the clinic is complete:

Complete your Making Ethical Decisions Module (MED) through CoachNS:
1. Go to : https://www.coachingns.com/
2. Scroll down until you find the Make Ethical Decisions course options.
Once the MED course is complete. Go to your Ringette Canada coach Profile:
1. Scroll down and choose: “This is Complete give me Credit”
2. Then go to “Community Sport Initiation MED Evaluation” and Click I want to complete my MED
The office will follow up with you for proof of the course and to give credit.

Once the above is complete you are a CSI -Trained. Congratulations!

To complete the CI coaching program, please follow the steps below:

Go to Ringette Canada’s Coaching website at coachingringette.ca
Scroll down and click the SIGN UP button
Create a coaching profile with Ringette Canada.
Once the Profile is created go to your “Status” and register for Coach Initiation in Sport (CIS).

Now begin your CI online work.

Scroll down to the Competition Introduction section and select Competition Introduction Pre-Clinic Task. You must complete the online workbook before attending the class.
Once the workbook has been submitted, you can register for a CI clinic. Click Register. This will bring up a separate screen showing the clinic options in NS. Select the one you want to take and register for it. Registration and payment is processed through the Ringette Canada website.
Attend the CI clinic
The office will give you credit for the course, which will then pass into the Coaches Association of Canada (CAC) database The Locker.

After the clinic is complete:
