Ringette NS is pleased to announce that Taylor Dempsey has accepted the 16AA Head Coach position for the 2025-26 season.

 

Taylor was born and raised in Herring Cove, NS. She has an extensive history of involvement with ringette, as both an accomplished player and coach. She began her ringette career over 20 years ago with the Halifax Chebucto Ringette Association. Taylor has had the opportunity to compete in multiple Eastern and National Championship tournaments and was named as an All Star team at the Canadian Ringette Championships in 2010. Taylor was an athlete at the 2011 NS Canada Winter Games team; these games were held in Nova Scotia.

 

To this role, Taylor will bring over 10 years coaching experience. Her spark for coaching developed first with coaching at ringette camps; a way to foster leadership, give back and gain coaching experience. She has been a coach either with the Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Association since 2014, and have coached the U19 excellence program. Most recently, Taylor was on the bench as an assistant coach for the NS 2023 Canada Winter Games team.

 

Taylor is looking forward to the 2025-26 season and seeing what Nova Scotia can accomplish during the year!
