U19 Excellence Ringette Program - June ID Camp Open for Registration
Ringette Nova Scotia 2025/26 U19 Team Tryouts
Registration is currently open to all athletes wishing to try out for Ringette Nova Scotia's U19 AA and/or A teams for the 2025-2026 ringette season.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Registration for Ringette Nova Scotia's U19 June ID Camp (June 6-8) is mandatory for admission into the 2025-2026 Ringette Nova Scotia U19 Programs (AA and A).
The deadline to register is Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 11:59pm.
Exemption Request
Athletes who cannot attend the June ID Camp must apply for an exemption on the basis of (i) injury or illness, or (ii) undue hardship.
Athletes granted an exemption from the June ID Camp MUST attend the U19 September ID Camp (dates TBD), as that will be their only opportunity to be assessed. Athletes attending both ID Camps (June and September) will have two opportunities to be assessed.
Athletes wishing to request an exemption must email Stacey at
execdirector@ringette.ns.ca by no later than Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 11:59pm. Athletes will be notified regarding their request by no later than Friday, May 23, 2025.
TRYOUT PROCESS
The tryout format is as follows (subject to change based on registration numbers):
Friday, June 6: 6pm-8pm - fitness testing
Saturday, June 7: 10:15am-12:15pm - skills sessions AND 1:15pm-4:15pm - scrimmages
Sunday, June 8: 10:15- 4:15pm scrimmages cont'd
Each athlete will participate in fitness testing, one skills session and three scrimmages over the duration of the June Camp.
Tryout Fee
$150
Please note that withdrawals are not eligible for refunds or credits.
